Carlyon is a NZ owned fuel industry contractor, with a reputation as one of NZ’s top contractors for over 35 years. We offer a range of services from fuel system design, tank manufacture and project installation through to scheduled and reactive service and maintenance.
The Role:
We are looking for a Mechanical/Electrical Service Technician to join our team in Auckland. As a Service Technician, you will service fuel and oil dispensing equipment, complete trade measure works and minor above ground commercial fuel tank installations.
This role will give flexibility and autonomy to manage your own workload with office admin and technical support from Senior Technicians.
With a robust pipeline of work, you’ll have ample opportunities to showcase your talent and expertise.
We’re Looking for the following skills to be successful in this role:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Qualified Electrician
- Experience in the fuel industry would be ideal, but training will be provided
- Hold a clean NZ driver’s licence
- Strong fault finding & problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of work types
- Thrives in hands-on, outdoor work environments
- Exhibits a proactive “can do” attitude.
- Ability to work self-motivated when unsupervised and problem solve
- Prioritizes health and safety protocols and strives for quality outcomes.
